'Sesquialtera' concerts

This time I'm writing in English, but the French version will follow shortly. Recently I have been seriously muddling the two languages, so this time I will be in 'English mode' and later in 'French mode'.

Latest news from 'Sesquialtera'.
The Bach recital over, now we turn to other programs, notably the new concert for 2009 being 'A journey from the Orkney Islands to Italy by sea, passing by Ireland, the British Isles, France, Spain and Morocco. It is an exciting project to render medieval vocal music with recorder trio, using the new Vincent Bertolin and Philippe Bolton 'Rafi' recorders alongside the recorders of Guido Hulsens and the Kung Great Bass. Always searching after a 'sound', we will be playing in the summer festivals in beautiful sites with fantastic acoustics. Do contact us if you happen to stumble on this blog and would like a concert in your area.

Available concerts:
'Bach on recorder'. A specialized but varied concert, showing transcriptions from Bach's music for recorder.

'Journey by sea in Medieval times blown by the winds'. An atmospheric concert, full of natural recorder sound effects, a modern approach.

'Winds of change' Recorder trio, varied and lively: Music from medieval to modern times, showing the broad spectrum of recorder music.

Very best wishes for Christmas and the New Year
